GOOD TO KNOW
No previous self-defense or fitness experience is needed. This is not a workout class, but participants will practice physical skills including blocks, escape techniques, and evasive movements. However, if you want to opt out of those parts you may do so.
We'll cover awareness, avoidance and de-escalation, confident body language, boundaries and verbal defense, escape techniques, leverage, and preparedness.
The workshop is designed to be supportive and approachable, with practical skills participants can continue practicing after class.
