Learn to master your movement

Move better

Support your body for real life

Corrective Exercise Personal Training helps address posture issues, movement imbalances, and discomfort through personalized, one-on-one training. This approach focuses on restoring efficient movement so everyday activities — walking, exercising, working, and aging — feel easier and more comfortable.

What Is Corrective Exercise?

Corrective Exercise is a targeted form of personal training that addresses common musculoskeletal imbalances related to posture, alignment, and movement patterns.

Sessions may include:

  • Self-myofascial release (self-massage)

  • Targeted strength training

  • Strategic mobility and stretching exercises

Each session is customized to your individual needs to help restore balance, improve movement quality, and reduce unnecessary strain on the body.

  • Not a workout. A reset.

  • Precise, personalized, and purposeful.

  • Movement support for real life.

Who Can Benefit?

Corrective Exercise Training is especially helpful for people who:

  • Are recovering from injury or illness

  • Have completed Physical Therapy and want continued support

  • Experience chronic pain, stiffness, or limited mobility

  • Feel uneven, restricted, or uncomfortable during movement

  • Want to improve posture and movement as they age

Because everyone has some degree of muscular imbalance, corrective exercise can benefit athletes, active adults, and everyday movers alike.

How Corrective Exercise Fits Into Your Fitness Routine

Corrective Exercise is not designed to replace your regular workouts. Instead, it provides focused, intentional training that supports how your body moves.

This work creates a strong foundation so other activities — strength training, yoga, walking, or daily movement — feel more effective and less stressful on the body.

Consistency is key. Learning the exercises is important, but regular practice is what creates long-term improvement.

After a few sessions, typically we can marry these exercises with your current program so it will be built in and not something additional.

In-Person Corrective Exercise Training

For best results, Corrective Exercise Personal Training is offered in person. Hands-on cueing, real-time feedback, and movement observation allow for safer and more effective progress.

If you have recently completed Physical Therapy, we may be able to coordinate with your provider to help you continue improving movement quality while respecting medical guidance.

    Posture

    Posture Support & Alignment Coaching
Our posture influences everything we do—how we move, how we feel, and even how we think. That’s why learning to achieve and maintain good posture during movement is so important. But it can be tough to do on your own—especially as we experience the natural changes that come with aging.

Aging often gets a bad reputation, but it can be a beautiful, empowering journey for those who choose to embrace it. At the heart of our approach is helping you not only improve your posture but also approach life with acceptance, positivity, and gratitude.

This supportive, whole-person focus may be exactly what makes our sessions stand out from the rest. Ready to see the difference for yourself? Contact us to get started.

    Foundational Strength

    Foundational Strength Training

A solid base of strength is essential for standing tall and moving with proper alignment. Without it, things can start to go wrong—and not always in ways we notice right away.

Our bodies are incredibly adaptable. They’ll find ways to compensate for weakness, often hiding the problem until it eventually leads to discomfort or pain. Sometimes, that pain shows up years later. Other times, it hits right away and we think, “Oops… I’m not 18 anymore.”

We use a variety of techniques to help you build and maintain a foundation of strength that supports healthy aging. This includes:

    Addressing common muscular imbalances

Focusing on proper alignment during movement

Incorporating isometric holds—a gentle yet powerful way to build strength.

It’s a win-win approach that supports long-term mobility and with consistency will help you age well.

    Myofascial Release

    Myofascial Release Techniques

Also known as self-massage, myofascial release can be performed using a wide range of tools and techniques—and we’ll help you focus on the ones that matter most for you.

Incorporating self-myofascial release into your routine not only supports your corrective exercise goals, but also offers long-term benefits as you age. Our approach teaches you how to apply these techniques effectively, targeting the areas that will help you feel better, move more freely, and reduce tension over time.

We pair myofascial release with flexibility training to promote more pliable, responsive tissue—starting deep within your body’s connective matrix.
